Larry Jack Ball, 75, of Harlan, entered heaven's gates on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Mountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pineville. He was born on September 17, 1948 in Harlan County but had lived most of his life in Louisville, KY. He worked as tree trimming service in Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Decker Ball; his father, Jack Ball; his step-mother, Nannie Blair Ball; his mother, Rose Kelly; his step-father, Bentley Kelly; sisters, Loretta King and Leona Alridge; brothers, Arthur Kelly, Lorne Ball and Donnie Ball.

Larry is survived by his brothers and sisters, Leslie Ball, Wallins; Lawrence Ball and wife, Carmen, Wallins; Arthur Ball and wife, Cathy, Corbin; Roger Ball and wife, Paula, Wallins; Ruth Garrett and husband, Jimmy, Fresh Meadows; Phillip Ball, Wallins; Lisa Guffey and husband, Carlos, Wallins; Teresa Ball, Wallins; Ellis Kelly, Evarts; and Lonnie Ball, Florida. Also surviving is a host of nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held with Pastor Paul White officiating.
