Linda Rose Cochran Middleton, 66, of Evarts, departed this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born May 23, 1958, she was a lifelong resident of Harlan County. Linda was a homemaker and previously worked as a pharmacy technician. She was a member of the King's Chapel Assembly of God.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Steed "Steve" Cochran and Roxie McCulley Cochran; and two brothers, Walter Lee Cochran and William McKinley "Billy Mack" Cochran.

Survivors included her son, Jason Middleton and wife, Sylvia, Lafollette, TN; her daughter, Sasha Middleton-Lawson and husband, Brad Lawson, Jones Creek; three sisters, Brenda Karst Huff, Kingsport, TN; Annetta Harp and husband, Hayes, Fort Myers, FL; and Cathy Richmond Cochran, Evarts; a brother, Albert McFarland, Fort Myers, FL; a special sister-in-law and friend, Brenda Gayle Hyde Cochran, Evarts. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Maisie Middleton, Ryley Mefford, Madalie Middleton, Luke Middleton, Embersyn Middleton, Liviana Middleton, Claire Middleton, Gabriana Middleton, Ava Middleton, Byntley Lawson and Reed Middleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Evarts Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 4 until 6 pm.
