Linda McMillian, seventy-one years of age, met her Savior on Sunday, October 1, 2023, while at the Georgetown Community Hospital, Georgetown, Kentucky.

Linda was born in Harlan, Kentucky, on July 21, 1952, to the late Willie James and Jeweldine Burris McMillian. She worked at the University of Kentucky in the housekeeping department for many years. She loved her grandchildren and was considered the community grandmother. She also loved her fur baby, Rocky.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by John Ray III, who was the love of her life; a daughter, Georgianna McMillian; a sister, Dorothy McMillian; a brother, Willie James (Paul) McMillian (Virginia); a brother, Walter McMillian (Diane); and a sister, Addie Lee Banks

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Grady McMillian(Ashley); George McMillian(Amanda); James McMillian( Jerrica); a brother, Henry McMillian; thirteen grandchildren: McKenzie, Austin, Elijah, Bella, Alexis, Sy Wright, Corey, Brooklyn, Kayliegh, Grady Jr., Sophia, and Myles; one great grandchild: Juniper, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members; as well as many dear friends.

Visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 pm in the chapel of Harlan Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm with the Reverend Darrell Washington officiating.

Interment will follow at the Evarts Memorial Gardens, Verda, Kentucky.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and children: Grady McMillian, George McMillian, James McMillian, Austin McMillian, Elijah McMillian and Grady Jr. McMillian.
