Lloyd "Sonny" Willard Wynn, 64, of Evarts departed this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born on August 15, 1959, in Harlan. Sonny worked as a coater operator in the textile industry and enjoyed playing the guitar and video games. He was a member of the Closplint Church of God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Willard Wynn and Dorothy Canady Wynn; a daughter, Megan Wynn; a sister, Karen Wynn; four brothers, Michael Wynn, Phillip Wynn, Harold Bauer and Robert Bauer; and a grandchild, Damion Hensley.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Jordan Wynn, Evarts; five children, Jeremy Wynn and wife, Leticia, Dalton, GA; Lloyd Justin Wynn and wife, Desiree, Chatsworth, GA; Kristy Bagwell and husband, John, St. Augustine, FL; Timothy Wynn, Evarts; and Shanna Michelle Ratcliff and husband, Caleb, Dalton, GA; two step-children, Nikki Jordan and David Kelly, both of Closplint; two brothers, Nathan Wynn, Knoxville, TN; and Rick Bauer, Williamsburg, KY; four sisters, Sheila Allen and husband, Donnie, Corbin, KY; Deborah Brackett and husband, Randy, Baxter; Lynn Helton and husband, Eugene Lawson, Corbin; and Brenda Miracle and husband, Glen, Williamsburg, KY. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Alexandra Wynn, Jonathan Wynn, Kaylee Wynn, Junior Silvers, Savannah Silvers, Lucas Silvers, Gabby Wynn, Ally Wynn, Mary Wynn, Jaxson Wynn, Roy Ratcliff, Angel Hensley, Alyssa Kelly and Alexis Kelly; two great-grandchildren, Khalani Silvers and Victoria Gillespie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 until 8 pm and Sunday from 1 until 2 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend Phillip Wynn officiating.

Interment will be Monday at 11 am in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
