Logan Wayne Davis, 44, of Closplint, passed away suddenly from an unexpected medical emergency on April 2, 2025. He was born in Lee County, VA on September 12, 1980. During his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, tending to the animals and playing Xbox.

He is preceded in death by his father, Worley C. Davis, Sr.; a brother, Worley C. Davis Jr.; a sister-in-law, Ruthie Davis; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Wilson and Johnny Hayes.

Those left to mourn his passing are the love of his life, Kim Knapp; his mother, Brenda (Granny) Davis; sisters, Susie Hayes, Sandy Wilson, Candy (Bruce) Caudill; a brother, James (Bowser) Davis; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Davis; other family, Sheena Davis, Rosa Wyatt and Michael Wyatt; Dylan McGee, who was like a son to him; a special friend, Joanna Buress and her daughters, Chloe and Harley; and his dog, Jasper.

Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Diane (Keith) Pendergrass, Winston (Felicia) Caudill, Cassandra (Jonathan) Boggs, John Taylor, Christy (Jason) Stanton, Whitney (Travis) Freeman, Gregory (Beth) Evans, Ashley (Dion) Coldiron, William (Natasha) Davis, Nick Davis, James Davis, Aubrey (Glen) Roberts, Aaron, Zed and Matthew Waltz; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2 until 4 PM at the Evarts Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 PM in the Chapel with The Reverend William Davis, Pastor Rodney Freeman and Associate Pastor William "Chick" Kelly officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
