Lonnie Ray Rigney, Jr., 58, of Ages became one of God's angels on Thursday, April 13, 2023.  He was born on June 28, 1964 in Harlan.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie "Pete" Rigney, Sr.; his grandparents, Jack and Ethel Rigney and Autrey and Lucille Sharp; and a nephew, Tyler Andrew Swedersky.

Left to mourn his passing are his mother, Brenda Sharp Rigney, Ages; his brother, Terry Rigney, Ages; his sister, Jennifer Swedersky and husband, Mike, Pineville; and his niece and nephews, Micheal Rigney and wife, Logan, Cumberland; Jessie Rigney and wife, Charity, Evarts; Michael Shawn, Savannah and Matthew Swedersky, all of Pineville.

His visitation will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Evarts Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon with funeral services to follow at 2 pm.  The Reverend Terry Baker, the Reverend Jesse Kinder and the Reverend Woody Fields will officiate.

His burial will be in the Evarts Memorial Gardens.
