Lucille (Sis) Hensley, 81, of Smyrna, TN, formerly of Smith, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Smyrna Care Center. She was born on March 12, 1944 in Harlan County to the late Harvey Hensley and Nannie Napier Hensley. She was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Geraldine Hensley Wagner.

Lucille is survived by one daughter, Melissa Hensley Phillips and husband, Dennis, Jr., of Smith; and one brother, the Reverend Clarence L. Hensley, Evarts. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Samantha Phillips, Summer Phillips, Skyler Phillips and Emily Wagner; four great-grandchildren; and two special nephews, Steve Hensley and wife, Angela, Evarts and Mike Hensley and wife, Rebecca, Wallins.

Graveside services were conducted Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Vine Daniels Cemetery, Smith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
