Marcia Kay Barker Smith, 69, of Totz passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Benham on December 12, 1956 to the late Kenneth and Loretta Bowling Barker. The past few years, she spent her time watching her favorite television show "Gunsmoke".

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Smith; two brothers, Glenn and Paul Barker; and a sister, Linda Foster.

She leaves to mourn her passing her four sisters, Claudette Craiger and husband, Jack, of Partridge; Joyce Polson and husband, Lloyd of Totz; Charlotte Smith of Nolansburg; and Judy Simpson and husband, Steve, of Cumberland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Tri City Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM. Her funeral service will be Wednesday at the funeral home at 1 pm with the Reverends John Neal and Ron Oplinger officiating. Interment will follow at the Andrew Craiger Cemetery in Partridge with Jeff Craiger, Kenny Foster, Stephen Foster, Cody Simpson, Kyle Simpson, and Steve Simpson serving as pallbearers.
