Martin "Marty" Keith, age 47, of Cumberland, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at his residence.

Marty was born in Benham, KY, on August 11, 1974, to Arville Keith and Mary Patty White. He graduated from Cumberland High School and went on to receive his diesel mechanic certification from Southeast Community College. Marty was the Garage Supervisor of Harlan County Schools, where he was the head diesel mechanic. He was a constable in Cumberland, a Mason, and a member of the SAG MC (Short Arm Gang Motorcycle Club).

Marty enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles and was a gifted musician, who loved playing the electric guitar. Most of all, Marty loved his children more than life. He was a member of the Cumberland Missionary Church and was passionate about sharing his love for the Lord with everyone he came in contact with.

Marty is preceded in death by his parents, Arville and Mary Pat; a brother, Terry Keith; and an aunt and uncle, Kenneth and Gladys Keith.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Harley and Dakota Keith, of Cumberland; two brothers: Connie McKnight and Jerry Hooten; his caretaker, Dorcas Turner; his SAG MC family; a host of extended relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation for Marty will be Monday, April 3, 2023, from 5:00-8:00 at the Tri City Funeral Home in Benham, KY. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4, at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Gary Ferguson, Jeff Sims, and Todd Hatfield officiating.

Burial will take place at the D.L. Creech Cemetery in Cumberland with Dakota Keith and member of SAG serving as pallbearers.
