Mr. Marvin Osborne, sixty-eight years of age, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.

Marvin was born on December 28, 1954 in Lynch, Kentucky to William Marion Osborne and Kathleen Scott. He obtained his GED and was a mining heavy truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, as well as watching John Wayne movies while having his favorite snacks…Little Debbie cakes and Diet Coke. Marvin was a wonderful father and grandfather and loved his family more than anything. He believed in the Baptist faith.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathleen; a brother, Glenn Osborne; a sister, Machelle Caudill; and five half-siblings.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Teresa Kilbourne Osborne of Eolia, KY; two children: Diana Osborne (Damon Sumpter) of Partridge and Kyle Osborne (Victoria) of Greenville, TN; three grandchildren: Arbana Sumpter, Flint Sumpter, and Skye Osborne; a sister, Kathy Osborne of Wise, VA; a brother, Alfred Osborne of Hickory, NC; a host of extended family members as well as many dear friends.

A graveside service for Marvin will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10:00am at the Maggard Cemetery in Partridge, KY.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
