Michael Lee Cloud, 42, of Evarts departed this life on Sunday, November 3, 2024.  Born October 11, 1982 in Harlan, he was the twin son of Pearl Lee Cloud and Violet Mazy Blevins Cloud.  Michael was a graduate of Evarts High School and a former coal miner. After leaving the mining industry, he enjoyed doing carpentry and mechanic work.  He was an outdoor enthusiast, spending time riding 4 wheelers, hunting and kayaking, but his biggest joy was spending time with his family and showing them some "tough love".  He was a very generous and kind-hearted man.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Violet Mazy Blevins Cloud; his father, Pearl Lee Cloud; and his twin brother, Mitchell Wayne Cloud.

Survivors include his former wife and the mother of his children, Ashley Pace Cloud, Evarts; four children, Trevor Cloud, Braxston Cloud, Mikey Cloud and Kylie Cloud; his nieces and nephew, Aliyah Cloud, Little Mitchell Cloud, Gracelyn Cloud and Viviana Cloud; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend Lloyd Ray Burkhart officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
