Michael Williams, 68, of Jones Creek departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at his home. Born December 28, 1954, he was a native of Harlan County. Michael was a retired coal miner. He enjoyed reading and listening to music.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Sue Dean Satterfield; his father, Ben Williams; a sister, Kimberly Toth; a brother, Benny Ray Williams; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Polly Dean; and his paternal grandparents, Arnold and Polly Williams.

Survivors include three sisters, Linda Munsey, Maynardville, TN; Jenny Satterfield, Luttrell, TN; and Judy Dean Major, Colorado Springs, CO; nieces and nephews, Matthew and Marc Williams, Mariah McHaffie, Nikki McKinney, Mikey Atkins, Jayden Munsey, Ethan and Nathan Ritter, and McKinley Howard; great-nephew and great-niece, Lathan and McKinzie Howard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 12 noon at the Church of the Living God Fellowship Hall on Jones Creek.
