Olin Hurston Osborne, 71, of Wallins, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 1, 2022, following a long illness. Born August 4, 1951 in Harlan County, he was a lifelong resident. He was a member of the Louellen Pentecostal Church. He was a proud coal miner for over 20 years, who loved being with his family, reading his Bible, and enjoying the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ephraim Osborne, Jr. and Lida Mae Houston Osborne; his brother, Jimmy Osborne; and his daughter, Sheree Dawn Osborne Mawani.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jackie Karen McKnight Osborne, Wallins; his son, Franklin Scott Allen Osborne, Wallins; his brothers, Aaron Osborne and wife, Melinda, Carlisle, OH; Ephraim Osborne, Louisville, KY; his sisters, Bonnie Prater, Franklin, OH; Jean Swafford Curtis, Carlisle, OH; Sharon Jewell and husband, Rev. James, Miamisburg, OH; and Debora Duncan, Coldiron. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his special granddoggie, Barley.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 12 noon with the Reverend Ronnie Boggs, Reverend James Jewell and Reverend Chuck Elam officiating.

Burial will be in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
