"Do everything in love." – 1 Corinthians 16:14
"…A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…" – Ecclesiastes 3:4
Patricia Ann Day (Huff), a devout Christian, a wonderful and beloved military wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, returned to the Lord peacefully, surrounded by her family on May 31st, 2025. A resident of Lynch, Kentucky, she was born June 21st, 1947, and lived to be seventy-seven years old. During her life she traveled the world with her husband, Dillard, as he served our Country in the United States Army. She loved spending time with her family, reading books, cooking, watching American Idol as well as the Voice, drinking her coffee, and most of all, the Lord. She was known as generous and kind by all those who were blessed enough to know her. Although the void she leaves in our lives is irreparable, we can rejoice knowing that she is now reunited with Dillard at Heaven's Gates.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard, of 58 years, her siblings Tony Huff, Rick Huff, Peggy Jones, and Diane Fee, as well as her parents, Ruby and Otis Huff.
Pat is survived by her four children: David Day and his wife Hannah, Tammy Caldwell and her husband Michael, Jeff Day and his wife Tracy as well as Courtney Taylor and her husband Ryan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Jeffrey Burkhart and wife Ella, Aaron Day, Peyton Day, Charleigh Day, Maggie Day, Jared Day, Dillon Day, Emily Day-Rister and wife Payton Day-Rister as well as Layla Taylor. Patricia is survived by 4 great grandchildren: Asher Day, Jacob Burkhart, Arianna Burkhart, and Johnathan Burkhart. She is survived by four brothers and sisters: Otis Huff and wife Wanda, Terry Huff and wife Paula, Mark Huff, as well as Sharon Blanton and husband Dallas.
