Patricia Jane "Pat" Farley, 84, of Watts Creek went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Harlan App Reg. Hospital. Pat was born on December 6, 1941 in Atlanta, GA to the late Jack Farley and Evelyn Waldroup Farley. She worked as an Engineer Assistant and Surveyor for the Kentucky State Highway Department and was a member of the Wallins Baptist Church.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one son-in-law, Jimmy Taylor; two brothers, Jack Farley, Jr. and Obie "Bucky" Bagley, Jr.; and two sisters, Peggy "Jackie" Farley England and Gail Brock.

Pat is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jim Richie, Watts Creek; one daughter, Susan Farley Taylor, Wallins; one sister, Debbie Stevens and husband, Boone, Coldiron; two grandchildren, Brady Jack Taylor and wife, Lib, Wallins and James Robby Taylor, IV and wife, Brandie, Mt. Vernon, KY; and seven great-grandchildren, Rachel Galindo, Amberjack Taylor, Haley Mott, Baylee Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Sairyn Farley and Kimber Farley.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Hill officiating.

Burial will be in the Farley-Helton Cemetery, Watts Creek with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
