A die-hard Democrat, Polly was always involved in and enjoyed politics. She also loved researching her family genealogy. She was a Catholic by faith.
Polly is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Roscoe and Maggie Hensley Ball; six brothers: Dillard Ball, Floyd "Fish" Ball, Hensley "Smokie" Ball, Curtis "Curt" Ball, Kyle Ball, and Roscoe Ball, Jr.; and one sister: Gladys Ball.
She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her beloved sister, Betty Ball Robinson, of Las Vegas, Nevada; nephews: Randy Nesbitt, Leslie Robinson, Mike Ball, and Kevin (Vickie) Ball; niece: Rhea Ball (Bob) Daugherty; great-nieces: Megan (Joel) Watson and Madison (Josh) Haywood; great-great nieces: Kylie Watson and Emily Watson; and great-great nephews: Benjamin Haywood and Owen Haywood, among others.
After cremation, Polly will be buried at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, Kentucky in a private ceremony.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Polly's memory to Harlan High School or to Hospice.
