Pheby Christine Napier Cloud, age thirty-nine, of Harlan, Kentucky, passed away in her home suddenly on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Pheby was born on December 10, 1982, in Harlan to Buffie Lynn Napier. When Pheby was very small, Buffie married Randolph Scott Fields, Sr. who became 'daddy' to Pheby and raised her as his own.  One of seven children, Pheby was quiet and never gave her mother any trouble. She grew up in Evarts and graduated from Evarts High School. For a time, she worked at SEKRI before having her first child. Being a wonderful mother was the most important thing in Pheby's life and she was an amazing, devoted mother who always put her children first.

Pheby was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. She had a very tender heart, was very kind and compassionate towards others, and was always willing to check on family and friends if she thought there was a need. She loved being surrounded by her family. Pheby enjoyed crafting and she was passionate about interior design. She was constantly painting, decorating, and rearranging things in her own home as well as the homes of others. She definitely missed her calling as an interior designer. Pheby was currently working at Sitting Pretty Pet Grooming in Evarts, KY, with her best friend, Stephanie Vick, at the time of her death. Pheby's life was cut short, the result of a senseless act of domestic violence. Her death has left a deep void in many hearts and she will be forever missed.

Pheby is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Freeman and Louise Napier.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Aliyah, Mitchell, Jr., and Gracelynn Cloud; her parents, Randolph and Buffie Fields; her grandmother, Sarah Robinson; three sisters: Mary Miracle, Tasha Fields, Brooke Johnson; three brothers: Randolph (RJ) Fields, Jr., Freeman Fields, Kaleb Fields; aunts and uncles: Sheralin and Eddie Greene, Judy Cox, Gary Jones, Stephanie Fields, Eddie and Leoda Couch, Steven Fields; nieces and nephews: Alaric, Aubrey, Christopher, Chandler, Raina, Solomon, Angelina, Aubrey; special cousin, Jacqueline Fields; many other extended relatives and dear friends.

Visitation for Pheby will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 12:00-2:00pm at the Harvest Worship Center in Harlan, KY, with funeral services beginning at 2:00. Pastor Bo Lee will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Turner Cemetery in Verda, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
