Raven Saylor, 87, of London passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on March 18, 1939 in Evarts, KY to the late Wallin Saylor and Lula Eversole Saylor. He was a retired coal miner and believed in the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny, Kinard, Wilburn and Wallin Saylor, Jr.; and one sister, Bertha Parli.

Raven is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debbie Whitehead Saylor, London; one daughter, Lisa Poux and husband, Alain, Mandeville, LA; one sister, Barbara Coley, Jacksonville, FL; special sister-in-law, Carolyn and a special nephew, Jim Parli. Also surviving, are three grandchildren, Celine, Claire; and Caroline Poux.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Leslie Whitehead Cemetery located in Franks Branch, Bledsoe, KY; with Mark (D.J.) Messer, Jr. officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
