Robert Smith, age 63, of Evarts, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Robert was born on August 18,1962 to the late General Smith and the late Betty Lou Thomas Wynn. Robert loved to hunt, fish, and do woodworking. He believed in the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two step-brothers, Charlie and Willie Wynn; and his stepfather, Emera Wynn.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Deloris Smith, of Evarts; one son, Robert Hector Smith and wife, Brianna, of Evarts; a stepdaughter, Kellie Nicole Clark, and husband, Kenneth, of Evarts; one sister, Helen Guffery, of Ohio; four grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Kindal Smith, Hayden Maggard, Madison Carmical; a special brother-in-law, Harvey Napier, of Verda, KY; and three very special friends, John Paul Madden, Timothy Wynn, and Gary Cochran; as well as a host of extended family members and many friends.

In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no services.
