Pastor Roger L. Jones, 74 of Hiram, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Gully Bridge, WV on June 30, 1950 to the late Lee and Lula Marie Flora Jones. He has been the Pastor of Rockvine Baptist Church for many years, and loved his church family as his own. He served in the United States Navy, after his service he married the love of his life, Linda Eldridge Jones. Roger has been a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Jones, and a sister, Tootsie Ayers.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 55 years, Linda Eldridge Jones, of Hiram; two sons, John Paul Jones and wife, Stephanie, of Partridge; Jeffery Adam Jones of Hiram; three grandchildren, Aaron Lee Jones, Corey Andrew Jones, Destiny Planck; two great-grandchildren, Rayna and Luna Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many special friends.

His visitation will be at the Rockvine Baptist Church on Sunday, May 18, 2025, beginning at 5 pm until the funeral hour. His funeral service will be on Monday at the church at 2 pm with Pastor Jason Caudill officiating.
