Rosa B. Woodard, 82, of Corryton, TN, formerly of Evarts went to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.  Born July 28, 1940 in Corbin, KY, Rosa had worked in the advertising department for Sanders Manufacturing for 43 years.  She was a member of the New Beverly Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, her cats and her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucy Ellen Doan Curnutt and Washington Curnutt; two sisters, Violet Hicks and Katherine Alsip Tolliver; and two brothers, the Reverend Paris Curnutt and William Edgar Curnutt.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Joe" Woodard, Corryton, TN; a son, Robert Hood and wife, Gina, Whitehouse, TN; a grandson, Brent Hood; three sisters, Alpha Hall, Evarts; Stella Ann Kirk, LaVergne, TN; and Wanda Napier and husband, the Reverend Curt Napier, Avon Park, FL; two brothers, the Reverend Hyden Curnutt and wife, Joyce, Ashland, KY; and Shirley Curnutt, Evarts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Her visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Evarts Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon with her funeral service to follow at 2 pm.  The Reverend Curt Napier, the Reverend Hyden Curnutt and the Reverend Richard Call will officiate.

Her burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with her family and friends serving as pallbearers.
