Rosalind Jeanette Cook Tsassovitin, 66, of Bledsoe passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, at the Harlan App. Reg. Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on December 14, 1959 in Harlan County. Rosalind worked as a store manager-clerk for the Salvation Army where she retired. She believed in the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Cook and Mildred Small Cook; and two sisters, Freda Hritz and Georgie Coots.

Rosalind is survived by her husband, Mihhail Tsassovitin, Bledsoe; seven brothers, Bill Cook and wife, Sun, Bean Station, TN; Ronnie Cook and wife, Marsha, Bledsoe, KY; Bobby Cook, Orlando, FL; Gary Cook, Ages, KY; Danny Cook, Orlando, FL; David Cook and wife, Jolene, Panama City, FL; and Tommy Cook, Orlando, FL.; and four sisters, Louanna Hermann and husband, Raymond, Sacramento, CA; Jawana Green and husband, Danny, Columbia, SC; Mary Sue Ashby and husband, Les, Talbott, TN; and Mildred Griffin and husband, Bobby, Orlando, FL. Also surviving is a host of nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at a later date in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with SGT. Les Ashby of the Salvation Army officiating.
