Rosemary Ruth
Osborne
Jan 31, 1970 — Aug 2, 2025
Lynch
Rosemary Ruth Halcomb Osborne, 55, of Lynch passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at her home. She was born in Whitesburg on January 31, 1970 to the late Joe Halcomb and Elsie Siler Calahan. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the best nana and mother to them. She was selfless, never wanting anything for herself, she would try to help anyone in their time of need. Our mother was strength, courage, and love all wrapped up into one, she held it together while her world was falling apart. She always made sure that we believed we could do the same. I can't think of one time our mom wasn't there for us, whenever we needed her. She loved us through all of our wrongs and guided us through all of our rights. I don't think anyone in this world will ever love us as she did and we will never forget all she has done for us and how she always stood by our sides, no matter what. We love you mommy and we will miss you dearly.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Halcomb; mother, Elsie Siler Calahan; stepfather, Gerald Ray Calahan; and her sister, Joann Calihan.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Stewart Osborne; four children, Wendy Osborne, Heather Osborne, James Brandon Osborne, and Brittany Osborne; eleven grandchildren: TJ, Skylar, Emily, Liam, Kaylee, Kassidy, Karleigh, Teeghan, Harley, Axel, Emryn; one great-grandson on the way; three sisters, Gerri Rae Ison, Denise Sexton, and April Dinsmore; one brother, David Gilliam; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Tri City Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm until the funeral hour. Her funeral service will be at 3 pm with the Reverend Ted Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Smith Family Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her parents, family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Donations can be made directly to the funeral home to help offset funeral costs.
Tri City Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Rosemary Osborne.
