Ruby Arnett Napier, 86 of Harlan, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born May 20, 1936, in Harlan County, she was a homemaker and believed in the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Napier; her parents, Boyd Arnett and Ira Sterling Arnett; two brothers and two sisters.

Ruby is survived by two children, Betty Robinson, Harlan; and Ronnie Johnson, Harlan; three brothers, Ernie Arnett and wife, Truly, Lexington; Raymond Arnett, Harlan; and Eugene Arnett, Tennessee; and one sister, Coreen Allen, Harlan. Also surviving are two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in the chapel of the Harlan Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. with Pastor Nick Noe officiating.

Burial will be in the Tway Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
