Sandra Sue Farley Jones, 68, of Baxter departed this life on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. Born June 1, 1956, she was a lifelong resident of Harlan County. Sandra was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith. She loved singing and going to church and enjoyed  coloring in coloring books and the company of her fur baby ,Tiny.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bessie May Hobbs Farley and Arvel Farley; two, children Leanna and Christian Fultz; two sisters, Tina Blanton and Barbra Fultz; and three brothers, Henry H.L. Farley, Ronnie Farley and Donnie Farley.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Jones, Baxter; four children, Mary Lynn Thomas, Patricia Sue (Benny) Stewart; Hershel (Rebecca Madden) Taylor; and Cruse Taylor; a brother, Larry Farley; a sister, Ella Lee Fultz; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 12 until 2 pm at the Harlan Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2 PM in the chapel with the Reverend Steve Daniels and the Reverend Doug Daniels officiating.

Burial will be in the Stewart Family Cemetery at Baxter with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
