Sandra Gail Howard Blevins, 72, of Jones Creek departed this life on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. Born July 4, 1952 in Harlan, Gail had lived here all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jones Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Howard and Susie Ella Middleton Howard; a brother, Samuel Spade Howard; and two sisters, Steffa Skidmore and Debra Howard.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bill Blevins, Jones Creek; a brother, Jamie Howard and wife, Jennifer, Indiana; three sisters, Jean Johnson and husband, Randy, Dartmont; Jowanna Howard, Jones Creek; and Valerie Howard, Jones Creek; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday after 4 pm at the Jones Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 4, 2024, at the Jones Creek Missionary Baptist Church at 3 pm with Pastor Butch Clem and Pastor Jerry Kirby officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
