Sandra Sue Moyers, 78, of Benham passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Tri Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family. She was born in Middlesboro on June 16, 1947 to the late Donald and Ethel Sowder Peck. Sandra was a member of the Sandhill Baptist Church for more than 40 years. She was unwavering in her faith and found great comfort and strength in her relationship with God. A devoted caregiver, she lovingly cared for her sister-in-law, Wanda, for many years with patience and compassion. She found joy in tending to her garden, nurturing both flowers and family alike. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she treasured her family above all else. Her greatest happiness was found in time spent with those she loved and in faithfully attending church.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Julius Harold Moyers; and a brother, Gary Peck.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Renee Scott and husband, Wayne, of Lancaster, KY; Brian Moyers and wife, Stephanie, of Colorado Springs, CO; Kyle Moyers and wife, Becky, of Tazewell, TN; five brothers, Donald Peck Jr. and wife, Rose, of Spring, TX; Greg Peck of South Houston, TX; Paul Peck of Grapeland, TX; Jeff Peck and wife, Carla, of Somerset, KY; Michael Peck of Middlesboro; a sister, Linda Courtney and husband, Jim, of Douglasville, GA; 11 grandchildren, Steven Simpson, Samantha Scott, Toby Scott, Darren Scott, Robert Scott, Brianna Scott, Joshua Moyers, Brandon Moyers, Lilliana Moyers, Justin Moyers, and Kylee Moyers; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Emberlynn Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Tri City Funeral Home from 11 am until 1 pm. Funeral service will be at 1 pm with Reverend Mark Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at the Benham Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
