Sarah Irene Cross Cloud, 46, of Dizney, departed this life on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born November 11, 1977 in Lafayette, IN, she had lived here for the past 30 years. Sarah was a homemaker and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved her husband, kids and grandkids more than anything in this world. She believed in the Pentecostal faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Teresa Fowler and Rodney Allen Cross; and a step-daughter, Jenny Cloud.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffery Wayne Cloud, Dizney; three children, Brittany Cross, Harlan; Steven Allen Adams and wife, Emily, Cawood; Chelsea Adams Boyd, Tennessee; a step-daughter, Joy Cloud Manning and husband, Neil, Pineville; three grandchildren, Emma Brock, Ava Adams and Isaiah Adams; four step-grandchildren, Haylee Hoskins, Austin Manning, Dylan and William Kelly; two step-great-grandchildren, Lakely and Lainey Hoskins; an aunt, Veronica Petrocelli, London; two special friends, Crystal Madden and Dezzie Mae Cornett; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Sarah's wishes were to be cremated and her remains buried at Evarts Memorial Gardens. Interment will be Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 12 noon with Brother Mitch Huff officiating.
