Sarah Jane Halcomb, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her residence in Cincinnati, OH. She was born in Harlan on August 16, 1994 to Dallas and Christina May Halcomb.

Sarah is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Hence and Martha Halcomb; a brother, Robert Herron; and an aunt, Beverly Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Dallas and Christina Halcomb; her children, McKenzi Brock; Donald Shepherd; Ryker Shepherd; her maternal grandmother, Toni Trainor, of Indiana; a brother, Anthony May, of California; a sister, Beverly Barnes (Joshua), of Cumberland; a nephew, Westen Barnes; two uncles, Carmen Halcomb and Felipe Raigosa; seven aunts, Debra Short; Leisha Halcomb; Regina Halcomb; Jennifer Partin; Raquel Rosenbalm; Lauren Jacobs; Jessica Durham; a host of cousins, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at Tri City Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be on Sunday at 2 PM with the Reverend Joseph Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Halcomb Family Cemetery in Linefork, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
