Sharol Carlene Pace, 75, of Dizney, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side, after a long illness. Born February 24, 1950 in Fort Wayne, IN, Sharol had lived her life for the Lord and believed in the Pentecostal faith. Besides her dedication and love for the Lord, Sharol also dedicated her life to her family, as a loving homemaker and a nurturing mother. She created a warm and welcoming home, filled with love and laughter. She poured her heart into instilling the values of faith, compassion and hard work into everyone she knew. Her faith was the guiding light in her life. She found joy in prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in the promises of eternal life. Sharol will be clearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves behind to mourn her loving husband of 56 years, George Pace, Dizney, KY; her loving children, Benny Pace, Dizney, KY; Lisa Wynn and husband, Walt, Jonesville, VA; Arthur Pace and wife, Ethel, Evarts, KY; Mark "Bubba" Pace and wife, Candie, Dayhoit, KY; Margie Smith and husband, Donnie, Smith, KY; and George Pace and wife, Crystal, Arjay, KY; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and her church family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Marjorie Whitman; brothers, Richard, Stanley and infant twin brothers Ronald and Donald Whitman; and a special life-long friend who was more like a sister, Joan Furman.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 until 9 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home, and Sunday after 6 pm at the Dizney Free Pentecostal Church until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 23, 2025, at 2 pm at the Dizney Free Pentecostal Church with the Reverend Doug Daniels and the Reverend Perry Long officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pace Family Cemetery at Dizney with her loving family and friends serving as pallbearers.
