Sharon Earls Griffin, 65, of Pathfork went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at her residence. She was born on May 18, 1961 in Harlan County to the late Tom Earls and Ellen Carmical Sargent. She was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ray Griffin; two brothers, Gary Earls and Waymond Earls; one sister, Judy Earls; one half-sister, Opal Middleton; and one grandson, Lucas Bradley Griffin.

Sharon is survived by one son, Sam Griffin, Pathfork; one brother, Bill Earls, Georgia; three sisters, Edna Blackburn and husband, Robbie, Loyall; Linda Saylor, Coldiron; Rita Holland, Georgia; and one grandson, Samuel Robert Griffin, Pathfork. Also surviving is a host of nieces and nephews.
