Sharon Kaye Maggard, 61, of Cumberland departed this life on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at her home.  She was born on May 24, 1965 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the late Thelma Roberts Maggard and the late Elbert Maggard.  Sharon was a homemaker that enjoyed being around children and dogs.  She was a very good and kind-hearted lady and enjoyed reading her Bible and praying.

She is survived by her son, Kevin A. Maggard, Cumberland; five sisters, Kathy Daniels, Jeffersonville, KY; Tina Sturgill, Mount Sterling, KY; Martina Coldiron and husband, Ronnie, Owingsville, KY; Marcella Sergent, Tennessee; and Wendy Sergent and husband, Roger, Ovenfork, KY; two brothers, Rick Maggard, Eol ia, KY; Brandon Maggard, Tennessee; her dog, Kissy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the ECCO Church in Eolia at 1 pm.
