Stephen "Kent" Lewis, 67 of Nolansburg, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 23, 2025.  Kent was a friend to all who knew him, and he enjoyed nothing more than visiting and sharing a pot of coffee with his friends.  Kent was a master craftsman and built the homes of many family members and friends who will cherish the memories he laid within.  Kent was fiercely independent and loved living a self-sufficient "off-grid" lifestyle.  Despite his rugged, course nature, he loved going to Barter Theatre and sharing a five-star meal with his family.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Marie Patterson Lewis; infant sister, Judith Ann; and his beloved grandson, Jacob S. Caudill.

Left to mourn his passing are his children, Brandon Lewis of Cumberland and Ashley (Jason) Caudill of Nolansburg; his grandchildren whom he was so proud of and loved dearly, Anna Marie Caudill and Levi Caudill, both of Nolansburg; one sister, Regina (Homer) Johnson of Corbin; one brother, Alan (Polly) Lewis of Danville; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm at the Tri City Funeral Home. His funeral will be Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 1pm at Tri City Funeral Home with the Pastor John Luttrell and Pastor Jason Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at the Lewis Cemetery at Laden with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Tri City Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Kent Lewis.
