Susan D. Crider Bennett, 54, of Wallins, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at her home from a sudden illness. Born July 16, 1969 to the late Glenn and Mary Cornett Crider, she was a loving mother and sister. Susan was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Loyall. She had worked in several different restaurants throughout her life with the last being Bojangles.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Dewayne Crider.

Survivors include her four children, Ronnie Scottie Bennett, of Utah; Ladonna Hamlin, Chattanooga, TN; April Buckner and Sarah Buckner, both of Georgia; two brothers, Stephen D. Crider, Wallins and Michael D. Crider, Georgia; four grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 11 am until 12 noon in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 12 noon with Pastor David Overbay officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cornett Family Cemetery at Watts Creek.
