Tammy Marie Ferguson, 60, of Evarts departed this life suddenly on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born August 1, 1965 in Harlan, she had lived here all of her life. Tammy was the life of the party unafraid to speak her mind and shoot straight with you about anything. She loved playing bingo and loved her family deeply. She believed in the Holiness faith.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Tim Byrge.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Brock, Evarts; and Heather Pennington, Harlan; her parents, Tommy Ferguson and Crystal Bundy Ferguson, Evarts; five sisters, Vickie Ferguson, Tennessee; Mary Helton, London; Sharon Ferguson Goley and husband, Henry, Evarts; Crystal Brock, Closplint; and Kathleen Pruitt and husband, Gordon, Sidney, OH; five grandchildren, Kytalynn Brock, Gideon Brock, Landon Pennington, Colton Pennington and Elliona Pennington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Her visitation will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Evarts Church of God beginning at 12 noon with a memorial service to follow at 2 pm. Reverend Gordon Pruitt, Reverend Bill Moore and Reverend Clarence Floyd will be officiating
