Tammy Gail Thomas Roark, 52, of Wallins, Kentucky, passed on to her eternal reward on Friday, June 28,2024, at the Harlan Appalachian Hospital surrounded by her loving family. As one in a set of triplets, Tammy was born on November 18, 1971, to John Robert and Freda Caldwell Thomas. She was a true Christian and the love of God showed through her caring and compassionate nature.

Tammy was known for putting the needs of others before her own, for her loving personality, and her unconditional kindness. She would give her last dollar to someone in need and was a prayer warrior. Tammy loved her Lord more than anything else and her life was evident of that. Every day, the love of God would shine forth from Tammy wherever she went. Jesus was her life and her son was her world. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt. To know Tammy was to love her and if you were on the receiving end of that love, you did not forget it. Everyone who came in contact with her was changed because of the impact Tammy had on their lives.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents, John Robert and Freda.

Left to cherish Tammy's memory is her devoted husband of 26 years, Kenneth Greg Roark; her son, Isaiah Robert Roark; two sisters: Robin and husband, Jeremy, and Connie and husband, Freddie, all of Wallins, KY; and a special niece that was like a daughter, Carrie Mahaley Brock. Also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many dear friends.

Visitation for Tammy will be held Monday, July 1, 2024, from 5:00-7:00pm in the chapel of the Harlan Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 7:00.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, July 2,2024, at 12:00 noon at the Thomas Family Cemetery on Happy Top in Wallins, KY.
