Timothy "T.J." Dewayne Brock, Jr., 38, of Harlan departed this life on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington after battling a brief illness. The day he was to be released the Lord had different plans and took him to his heavenly home. While T.J. will be greatly missed, we do have some peace in knowing that he had his heart and soul right with the Lord and he was confident in where his journey would end.

T.J. was born on September 1, 1985, in Harlan County to Timothy and Lisa Duncan Brock. He was a mason by trade and worked in construction for over 20 years. T.J. enjoyed drawing and playing guitar. His circle of friends was small but that's how he preferred it. He loved his family, his dog and what he did for a living.

T.J. was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Duncan Brock and grandparents, Willard and Inez Campagnari and Harrison Brock.

He is survived by his two children, Trenton Brock and Allie Brock, both of Harlan; his father, Timothy Brock, Sr., Wallins; one sister, Brandy Partin and husband, Charles, Pineville; grandmother, Martha Helton, Wallins; niece, Britney Hensley, Harlan; nephews, Dillon Farmer, Pineville and Kieran Chadwick, Harlan; aunts, Gloria Begley and husband, Burley, Coldiron; Teresa Hernandez and husband, Leo, Florida; uncles, James Woodsby, Harlan and Dewayne Woodsby, Corbin; great nieces, Sophia and Phoebe Witt, both of Harlan; as well of a host of extended family, precious cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Kildav Community Church with services starting at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jason Mills officiating.

Burial will be in the Tway Cemetery in Harlan with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
