Vivian Ruth Brown Jones, 76, of Dandridge, Tennessee, formerly of Loyall, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the UT Hospital in Knoxville.  Born April 16, 1946 in Harlan County, Vivian was a retired LPN with over 50 years of service having been employed by the Harlan App. Reg. Hospital and the Harlan Nursing Home.  Following her retirement, she moved to Dandridge where she enjoyed working in her flower garden.  She believed in the Baptist faith.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Brown and Blanche Clark Brown; and two brothers, Roger and James Brown.

Survivors include four children, Arthur Ray Jones, Lexington, KY; Rita Lynn Eaton and husband, Mike, Sevierville, TN; Earl Wayne Jones and wife, Shonda, Fairfield, OH; and Lisa Sue Crotty, Nashville, TN; three sisters, Carolyn Brown, Harlan; Anne Hoskins, Louisville; and Billie Brown; and two brothers, Edward Brown, Milford, OH; and George Brown, Cincinnati.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Justice Jones, Andrew Lay, Jamie Lay, Nicholas Lay, Amber Sellers, Amanda Jones, E.J. Jones, Steven Dixon, Brian Dixon and Melanie Lewis; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Her visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Loyall Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with funeral services to follow at 1 pm.  Pastor Ronnie Dale Shackleford will officiate.

Her burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
