Wanda Louise Lawson Fields, 85, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Tri State Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrogate, TN. She was born on March 31, 1940 to the late Fred Lawson and Sofie Eldridge Banks. She believed in the Pentecostal faith. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker and loved her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Berchel Fields; three children, Jackie, Ireen and Mike Fields; two brothers, Glenn Banks and R.B. Turner; and two sisters, Margie Turner and Rerenna Hall.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Sandra Fields of Cumberland; Peggy Deisher and husband, Chris, of Tazewell, TN; Shawn Fields of Cumberland; Phyllis Horton of London, KY; a brother, Robert Banks and wife, Judy, of Tazewell, TN; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 1 pm at the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
