Wilma Jean Jones, 88, of Cumberland, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024. She was born July 28, 1935, to the late Culbert and Matilda Calton. She was a woman of God and a devoted member of the Tri City Pentecostal Church.  Wilma was proud of her babies, grandbabies, great grandbabies and great-great grandbaby. She loved hard, would kill you with kindness, and had a beautiful singing voice.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Culbert and Matilda Calton; her loving husband, William "Bill" David Jones; four brothers; one sister; a son-in-law, Frank Haines, and a grandson, Shawn Jones.

Wilma leaves to cherish her memory her children: Madonna Haines of Cumberland, David Jones and wife, Candy, of Michigan, IN, Sherry Green and husband, Monty, of Columbus, IN, Russell Jones and wife, Patti, of Knoxville, TN; siblings: Janice Tyree of Cumberland, Stephen Miles of Cumberland, Cecil Miles and wife, Karen, of Portage, IN, James Miles of Blair; ten grandchildren: Keith Spradlin (Jen), Ladonna Lipke (Vince), Nathaniel Haines (Jess), Jason Jones, David Paul Jones, Michael Hoskins (RaeJean), April Gehring (Dan), Rachel Lomax (Jamie), Kelly Dykshorn (PJ), Ryan Jackson; great-grandchildren: Liam, Aiden, Katlyn, Autumn, Alexandria, Calvin, Michael Phillip, Paigelynn, Libby, Rissa, Jerome, Jade Arealia, Zoie (Trevor), Hayden (Maegan), JamieLyn, Taelynn, Haylee, Emmalee, Jayss; one great-great grandson, Harlan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Tri City Pentecostal Church from 11 to 3 PM. Her funeral service will follow with the Reverend Billy Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Peaceful Acres Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
