Yvonne Boggs Deal, age seventy nine, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at her home. She was born in Lynch, KY on September 9, 1942 to Woodrow and Elsie Hogg. Yvonne was a member of the Lynch Church of God, where she served faithfully for many years. Her ministry was the gift of hospitality and compassion. She always had an open heart and home to all. She was the matriarch to all of our families. As for her love of cooking, mom shared it with the community in the form of her restaurant where people came from near and far. During the summer you could often find her tending her garden, harvesting and canning the fruits of her labor. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Elsie Howard Hogg; her husband, Charles Boggs; infant daughter, Stacey Nicole Boggs; brothers, Randall and Larry Hogg.

Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gregory Boggs and wife, Theresa, of Ashland, KY; Charles Boggs II and wife, Elaine, of Dandridge, TN; Aimee McKnight and husband, Adam, of Cumberland, KY; siblings, Michael Hogg and wife, Sherrie, of Benham, KY; Tommy Hogg and wife, Connie, of Harrodsburg, KY; Gary Hogg and wife, Monica, of Providence, KY; Darlene Hall of Hiram, KY; grandchildren, Katelynn Boggs, Alex Boggs, Zach Webb, Rebecca Denkenberger (Tyler),  Taylor Boggs, Jordan Boggs, Devin Boggs, Jacob Rogers, Katie McKnight, Matthew McKnight (Brianna), David McKnight (Angel), Heaven Nowell, great grandchildren, Raelynn McKnight, Aelyn and Rhett Denkenberger; special "sister" Joyce Howard; best friends, Joyce Hensley and Linda Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Yvonne will be Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 6-9 pm at the Lynch Church of God. Her funeral service will be Monday, September 12, 2022, at 12 pm at the church with Pastor Tommy Dotson officiating. Interment will follow at the Peaceful Acres Cemetery in Hiram, KY with Matthew McKnight, David McKnight, Jacob Rogers, Alex Boggs, Devin Boggs and Cody Hall serving as pallbearers.
